Thanks to those current and past Trustees who joined us for the 2021 Cultural Partnership Trustees Connected. Trustees Connected is an annual opportunity to share experiences and discuss future plans for Balboa Park!
Trustees from 40 organizations gathered to celebrate Balboa Park!
Thank you to all Balboa Park Trustees who were able to join us for our virtual event on April 21, 2021. We welcomed Trustees representing 40 Balboa Park organizations, including all of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership member organizations. It was truly a thrill to watch the quantity of Zoom screens increase second by second.
Cultural Partnership Board President, Micah Parzen, Chief Executive Officer of the Museum of Us, welcomed attendees. He noted that the cultural institutions were quick to make innovative changes during the 2020 pandemic year, “finding ways to emerge as better versions of ourselves.”
Two of many notable achievements included a wealth of online programming, and earning a LEED rating through the work of the Sustainability program, in partnership with our generous sponsors at SDGE.
