Thank-you notes from children and families who have received a Community Access Pass.

Underwritten by generous Park Trustees, the critically important Community Access Pass Program, launched in 2014, provides free annual admission for families in San Diego County that are at-risk, economically disadvantaged or traditionally underserved.

Sixteen participating cultural institutions in Balboa Park provide free general admission and the Cultural Partnership, working closely with more than 80 non-profit organizations throughout the County, manages the program. Since the launch, more than 13,500 households (47,000 individuals) have been provided with free annual Explorer passes through the program.

We can never express enough appreciation for our present and former Trustee VIP Patrons, sponsors and supporters for their continued support. A $1,500 gift as a Trustee VIP Patron provides 10 complimentary annual Family Explorer passes. The Trustee also receives a VIP annual Explorer pass for two named individuals, and up to three guests, per day.

As our communities begin to reemerge from the pandemic restrictions, our Community Access Pass Program has swung back into action, with the goal to be stronger than ever.

For more information or to support the community and join as a Trustee VIP Patron, please contact Theresa Wulf, Director of Community Engagement, at theresa.wulf@bpcp.org.
